Social Enterprise Mark

Social Enterprise Mark CIC is the UK certification authority for social enterprises. The Social Enterprise Mark independently proves when a business or organisation puts profits towards social or environmental good.

Warrington Health Plus CIC is officially recognised as one of these socially aware organisations having recently been awarded The Social Enterprise Mark; the highest accolade for socially responsible companies.

The Social Enterprise Marks are reserved and independently awarded to organisations that are committed to genuine social enterprise principles and that demonstrate transparency in practice.

The selection process is rigorous, with organisations being required to produce evidence that they meet a host of criteria and provide commentary and rationale before being put before an independent selection panel.

Other ethical businesses that have been recognised by the Social Enterprise Mark are Age UK Enterprises, Eden Project and The Big Issue.
