Warrington Health Plus Awarded Social Enterprise Mark
Warrington Health Plus CIC has been awarded The Social Enterprise Mark; the highest accolade for socially responsible companies.
The Social Enterprise Marks independently proves when a business or organisation puts profits towards social or environmental good, as only organisation that are committed to genuine social enterprise principles and that demonstrate transparency are awarded this Mark.
Alison Holbourn, CEO of Warrington Health Plus says, “I am delighted that the good work of Warrington Health Plus has been recognised by the social enterprise panel and been given the privilege to display their Social Enterprise Mark.
“Not only does this mark give credit to a CIC that is still in its infancy, but it allows us to promote our achievements on the basis of their social, moral and ethical benefits for the people of Warrington.”
The selection process is a rigorous one, with organisations being required to produce evidence that they meet a host of criteria and provide commentary and rationale before being put before an independent selection panel.
Warrington Health Plus has impressed the assessment panel and now joins other ethical businesses that have been recognised by the Social Enterprise Mark such as the Age UK Enterprises, Eden Project and The Big Issue.
Alison Holbourn says, “It has taken a lot of effort to secure the Social Enterprise Mark, but we’re thrilled to display this badge to demonstrate how important social integrity is to us.”
