Priorities

Together, Warrington’s GPs have identified ten priorities for primary care reform.

 

These priorities comprise:

 

  • Access demand and capacity

  • Medicines management and prescribing

  • Nursing and residential homes

  • Primary care quality – the ‘Warrington offer’ (Warrington ‘brand’)

  • Whole system/right care – the role of Primary Care in effective utilisation of the whole system resource through system integration

  • Complex care including long term conditions and cancer rehabilitation

  • Promoting prevention and self-care

  • Mental health

  • Workforce

  • Public engagement and communications in primary care
